2 c. sugar
½ c. butter, softened
2 eggs
2 medium very ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 cup nuts, chopped (walnuts or pecans)
2 tsp. cinnamon

Whisk together:
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

In small bowl mix by hand:
⅓ c. brown sugar
1 c. nuts, chopped (walnuts or pecans)
16 oz. chocolate chips
2 tsp. cinnamon

In mixer, blend butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, then bananas, sour cream and vanilla.
Add flour mixture slowly until well incorporated.

Spread half of batter in a buttered 9x13 Pyrex pan. Sprinkle half of chocolate chip mixture on batter.
Cover with remaining batter and top with rest of chips.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.
