1 pound ground round
1 green bell pepper
1 onion
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cups rice
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion and pepper. Brown ground beef in dutch oven with pepper and onion. Drain off any excess grease. Pour in tomatoes with juice and 2 cups of rice. Add 3 ½ cups of hot water and a generous amount of salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is cooked.
