3 ripe peaches, mashed
2 cups sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
½ pint cream
1 quart milk
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Directions:
Directions:
Mash peaches with the sugar and lemon juice. Chill until the sugar dissolves. Add cream to the peach mixture a little at a time or it might curdle. Pour into ice cream freezer. Add enough milk so the mixture is an inch below the freezers full line. Then churn. When nearly frozen, mix in beaten egg whites to improve the texture. Makes 2 quarts.
