1 box butterscotch pudding mix
½ cup shortening
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1½ cups flour
1½ tsp. ginger
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and mix well. Add dry pudding mix, flour and spices. Mix well. Roll dough ⅛ to ¼ thick and cut with cookies cutter - or give each child small balls of dough to use for molding body, head, two arms, two legs. This dough is easy to work with.

On greased sheet, bake at 350º for 10 minutes. (This is enough dough for 6-7 children.)
