2½ cups flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 cup margarine
2 egg yolks
Milk
1 cup crushed cornflakes
2 egg whites
Filling:
5 cups sliced apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
Frosting - Mix together:
1¼ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2-4 Tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the filling apples, cinnamon, sugar, and flour; let stand while mixing dough.

Sift together the flour, sugar, and salt; mix in margarine. Blend as for pastry. Beat egg yolks; add enough milk to make ⅔ cup. Blend into crust. Divide in ½. Roll out to fit a jelly roll pan. Sprinkle corn flakes over crust. Put the apple mixture over this. Cover with the top crust and spread well beaten egg whites over crust.

Bake at 350º until lightly browned around 50-60 minutes. Drizzle with frosting while warm.
