Bread Pudding


Ingredients:

3 Eggs, beaten
C. sugar
Pinch of salt
3 to 4 C. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
7 slices of bread

Directions:
Directions:
Cube bread and place in a 9x9 pan and sprinkle with raisins or other fruit if desired

Mix all other ingredients together in a bowl and then pour over cubed bread.

Bake at 375 for one hour. Serve with Old Fashioned Sauce.
 

Old Fashioned Sauce


Ingredients:

1 C. sugar
C. butter
C. water
1 egg, beaten well
tsp grated lemon peel
3 T. lemon juice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Serve warm.
