2 sticks oleo
1/2 c Crisco
3 c sugar
5 eggs
3 c flour
1 c milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together ole, Crisco, and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour and milk, alternating additions. Add the baking powder in with the last addition of flour. Add vanilla. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan and put in a cold oven. Turn oven on and bake at 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes, until lightly browned. DO NOT open oven door while baking.
