1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef
½ - 1 green pepper, to taste
¼ C. onion (chopped)
Garlic Salt
Salt and Pepper
3 (15 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce
¼ C. Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 T. pizza seasoning
2 T. brown sugar
1 small can mushrooms
3 oz. pepperoni
1 C. each: strodle, cavatelli, rigatoni, mostaccoli

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground beef, onion, green pepper, with salts and pepper. Add all sauces, Parmesan cheese, pizza seasoning, brown sugar, mushrooms, and pepperoni. Cook slowly for 10 minutes. Pour over cooked pastas. Pour into greased pans. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 400º for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot through. Use 9x13-inch pan.

This recipe came from the Pony Express Riders of Iowa Cookbook. Reminds me of the Cavatini you use to get at Pizza Hut many years ago.
