1 cup butter, softened
1-1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 T. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1-3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt, optional
2-1/2 cup Quaker Oats
1, 12oz peg butterscotch chips
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped dates or raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and beat well. Add flour, baking soda and salt: mix well. Stir in oats, butterscotch chips, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto uncreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes for chewy cookie or 12-13 minutes for crisp cookies. Bake at 375*
