1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 Tsp. chili powder
½ tsp. celery salt
½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. powdered mustard
1 (4 lb.) rump roast
½ cup water

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, mix together black pepper, paprika, chili powder, celery salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and mustard. Rub mixture over the surface of the meat. Place roast in a slow cooker and add the water.
2. Cover and cook on High for 1 hour and reduce to Low for 7-8 hours. (Can also just cook on low 8-9 hours.) When meat is tender and well done, transfer roast to a serving platter. Skim fat from juices and strain; serve juices with meat.
