2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 cups applesauce
Topping: 2/3 cup chocolate chips and 2 Tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Measure dry ingredients into large bowl. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds to blend. Beat in butter on low speed until uniform. Add eggs and applesauce. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup chocolate chips and 2 Tablespoons sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
