1 stick margarine or butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
2 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 cups plain flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well; add eggs, one at a time, beat after each egg. Add soda, flour and bananas alternating.

Add nuts. Grease loaf pan. Cook one hour at 275 or until brown.

This recipe came from the Mt. Tabor's Cookbook that Linda Kay gave me when I was first married. We have enjoyed many a loaf of banana bread and each time we think of our beloved Linda!
