Ingredients: 2 (6 oz.) cans of minced clams
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely diced celery
2 cups finely chopped potatoes
cup finely diced carrots

Directions:
Directions:
Drain clams, add the clam juice and enough water to barely
cover the vegetables. Then simmer covered over medium heat until potatoes are done, about 20 minutes. Meantime, melt cup butter and add cup flour. Stir for 2 minutes over low heat. Stir and add 1 quart of half and half, or 1-pint cream and 1-pint milk. Add to undrained vegetables and add the clams. Heat and season to taste.

1 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
tsp sugar.
