2⅔ c crushed saltines (about 80 crackers)
1 tsp garlic salt
tsp dried basil
tsp paprika
⅛ tsp pepper
1 egg
1 c milk
1 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch strips
Oil for deep fat frying

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a shallow bowl, combine the first five ingredients.
2. In a separate, shallow bowl, beat egg and milk.
3. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then cracker mixture.
4. In electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375.
5. Fry chicken, few strips at a time, for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
6. Drain on paper towels.
