Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 cups rolled grain ( use what ever your family eats, barley, wheat, rye, and oatmeal)
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1 1/2 cup chopped nuts ( again whatever you family enjoys, pecans, peanuts, walnuts, almonds)
1/4 cup wheat bran
1/4 cup sunflower seeds

2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup raw honey
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Turn oven on to 250

Mix the first 5 ingredients together in an extra large mixing bowl. Stir to mix.
Place the next 5 ingredients into a medium sauce pan. Warm over medium heat until the honey and coconut oil melt and the flavors mix.

Pour the wet ingredients over the grain and stir rapidly to keep liquid from settling to the bottom of the bowl. Pour the mixture onto two large cooking sheets.

Place cooking sheets in oven. Bake for 45 - 90 minute stirring every 20 minutes until the granola dries and begins to brown.

I like to put chopped dates (I buy them at Sprouts) to the grain mixture as well. You can other dried fruits (strawberries, apricot, mango) as well, to your liking.
