1/2 lb. butter
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
3 cups sugar

6 eggs - separated
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon baking powder
3-1/4 cups plain flour
1 cup milk
Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, Crisco shortening and sugar real good. Add egg yolks. Add flavorings. Beat real good. Add baking powder to flour. Add milk and flour - don't beat long. Beat egg whites. Fold in mixture.

Cook in a tube pan for 1-1/2 hours at 350º.
