Sift together: 1 cup sifted all purpose flour
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. orange rind

Cream: ½ cup butter
⅓ cup sugar; cream well

Blend in: 1 unbeaten egg
Add half the dry ingredients; mix well
2 tbsp. orange juice and the remaining dry ingredients. Blend well.

Stir in ¾ cup chopped pecans.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350º for 9 to 12 minutes.

While hot roll in powdered sugar
