2 cups flour
1 T. sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup milk
1 egg yolk
1 T vinegar or lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, sugar and salt. Using a pastry blender, cut in the shortening.
Stir together the milk, egg, yolk and vinegar. Add the liquid to the flour mixture. Toss together just enough to get them all mixed. Handle dough as little as possible. Divide in half. Roll out on pastry cloth.

Put in 9 inch pie pan. Will make 2 single pie shells or one double crust pie.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes for a single crust pie.
