1 gallon apples
3 quarts sugar
3 pints water

Directions:
Directions:
Peel the apples, core and cut in pieces. Wash twice. Cook in large pot with 3 quarts sugar, 3 pints of water to one gallon of apples. Cook 2 hours in covered pot without stirring. When done, apple pieces will be clear, tender and sweet.
