1 pound roll hot sausage
8 ounce package cream cheese
2 cans crescent rolls
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown sausage and drain excess grease. Stir cream cheese into hot sausage until well blended. Unroll 1 package if crescent rolls onto baking sheet and press all seams together. Spread sausage mixture over the crescent rolls, leaving a ½ inch border. Sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese. Unroll remaining crescent rolls and lay on top of sausage mixture. Gently press seams together and seal edges. Bake at 375º for about 20 minutes. Cut into small squares.

So easy and so delicious! You might want to brush the top layer of crescent rolls with an egg white and/or poppy seeds before baking. Also, you can add green chilies to the sausage mixture if desired.
