16 oz cottage cheese
8 oz cream cheese
1 large tomato or two smaller tomatoes, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
2 cups of finely shredded cheddar cheese
16 oz bottle of Ortega smooth taco sauce, mild or medium
1 small can of sliced black olives (optional)



Directions:
Directions:
Pour cottage cheese into mixing bowl. Mix on medium speed for 3 minutes. Add cream cheese to mixture. Mix on medium for another 3 minutes.

Spread mixture on the bottom of 9 x13 pan or similar size dish with sides. Spread chopped peppers on top of cream mixture. Spread chopped tomatoes on top of peppers. Evenly spread the taco sauce on top of the tomato layer. Layer a generous amount of cheese on top of taco sauce. Optional garnish with black olive slices on top of cheese.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy with with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
