1 stick butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
2 cups blackberries (frozen or fresh)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Put 1 cup sugar and flour in mixing bowl, whisk in milk. Mix well. Pour in melted butter and whisk all well together. Butter a baking dish. rinse and pat berries dry. Pour batter into bettered baking dish. Sprinkle berries over top of batter evenly. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the top. Bake until golden and bubbly. If desired sprinkle another teaspoon sugar over cobbler 10 minutes before it is done. Bake 350* for 1 hour.
