Ingredients:
a bag of raw peanuts
1 cup salt
1 gal water

Directions:
Buy a bag of raw peanuts. Wash thoroughly. Bring a kettle of water to boil and add salt (ratio: 1 cup salt to 1 gallon water). Add the raw peanuts and stir them in. Cover the kettle and turn to low. Low boil for 2-3 hrs, stirring every 30 min.

Test the peanuts and remove from heat when they are done to your taste. I like them cooked at least 3 hrs. Drain off the water and store them in the refrigerator. You can microwave them to heat them up again. Good for a football game.
