2 lbs raw sweet potatoes
4 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
1 gallon water
½ cup white corn syrup
½ cup water
1 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Shred yams into salted water. Soak. Combine sugar and syrup in ½ cup water in saucepan. Cook ‘til forms a light syrup. Drain potatoes. Rinse. Pat dry. Place potatoes in baking dish. Pour pineapple juice over potatoes then pour syrup. Dot with butter and bake uncovered 350° for 35 minutes.
