4 bacon slices
½ cup ketchup
1 small onion, diced
1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
⅓ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
½ cup sorghum syrup or molasses
4 15-oz cans pork and beans in tomato sauce, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes; drain, reserving 2 tsp drippings in skillet.

Stir together onions, pork and beaks, sugar, ketchup, syrup, Worcestershire and mustard in a lightly greased 11" x 7"’ baking dish. Top bean mixture with bacon. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until bubbly.

The thick, rich taste of sorghum gives this quick recipe that all-day slow-cooked flavor. This dish is sweet, not the conventional bean taste.
