Ingredients:  
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup milk
3 squares chocolate (or 11 tablespoons cocoa powder)

4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans - chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup, milk, and chocolate in a saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat.

Add butter and vanilla. Beat until glossy. Add pecans and pour into buttered pan.

Note: This fudge stays soft.

Note: For peanut butter fudge, omit chocolate and add ground peanuts.
