1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup dry skim milk powder
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 T. milk
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add eggs, shortening, milk and vanilla, Mix well and add nuts.
Mixture will be very stiff.
Pour into 8"x8" greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350º F. for about 20 minutes.
Remove while gooey from oven to make a fudge-like texture.

My sister, Elizabeth, liked this recipe so much she asked for it from Aunt Mary May who usually always typed her recipes. I liked to use it too especially when I had dry skim milk in my pantry.
