4 oz. elbow macaroni or wide noodles

1 can condensed Cream of Celery soup (if you can't find that, cream of mushroom is ok)

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1/4 cup finely cut pimiento

1/2 cup green peppers chopped

(I always liked mushrooms- (canned mushroom pieces were used)

1 cup grated American cheese, (or cut into small pieces)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain, but do not rinse.

Combine celery soup, and evaporated milk.

Add macaroni, tuna, pimiento, peppers, mushrooms and half of the grated cheese

Turn into greased 1 1/2 qt casserole dish or pan.

Sprinkle remaining cheese around edge.

Bake in oven 350 degrees, for 25 minutes.

As a kid, this was the ultimate comfort food. Haven't had it in years, but it was great!
