1 pound of Macaroni
1 (10.75 oz.) can of condensed tomato soup
1 1/4 cups milk
8 tablespoons of butter (1 stick), sliced so it melts easier in the cooked macaroni
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste

Topping:
2 tablespoons of butter, softened
1/4 cup dry (plain) bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Boil macaroni in lightly-salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes) and then drain.

Add the butter to the macaroni in a large bowl.

Mix the macaroni and butter together with the remaining ingredients and then pour the mixture into a lightly greased (Pam) 9 X 13 baking dish.

Mix together the topping and then sprinkle it on top. Cover with foil and bake covered for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.

Makes 6 (Main dish) Servings. (This recipe can easily be doubled and baked in two 9 X 13 pans. Leftovers freeze well.)
