1 1/3 c (1 can) Eagle Brand milk
1 cup maple syrup
1 c brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and simmer slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking mixture, stirring occasionally until it reaches soft ball stage or a temperature of 236ºF. Cool without stirring to a temperature of 110ºF or until mixture feels warm. Beat until thick, add nuts and pour into buttered pie pan. Allow to set completely cooled.
