1 box white cake mix
1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
1/2 cup water
1 cup cooking oil
1/2 pkg sweetened frozen strawberries, thawed an pureed
4 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Place all in mixer, beat for 4 minutes. Pour into three 8 or 9 inch cake pans
Bake at 350 for about 35-40 minutes Be sure to check
inside to make certain cake is done. As I remember,
I had one that wasn't done and it was a mess.

FROSTING:
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 pkg frozen strawberries, thawed

Combine all and frost cake.

This was my favorite birthday cake when I was a little girl, it was pink and yummy.
This was also the first cake I ever tried to bake on my own for my sister, Cherie's birthday. It was a disaster, but she raved about how yummy it was so my feelings wouldn't be hurt.
