Mix until blended. Drop spoonfuls on top of boiling stew, salt and pepper.

Reduce heat and cook 10 minutes uncovered. Cover and cook 10 more minutes.

For a quick meal, saute a bag of frozen chopped carrots, celery and onion mixture in butter until softened. Add 2 32 Oz cartons (or more) chicken broth and diced roasted chicken from the store.

Otherwise, boil a chicken to make broth, remove the meat and cut into bite size pieces.
