3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 Tablespoon corn syrup
1 loaf of Texas Toast (bag at Wal-mart)
7 eggs
2 cups half & half
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan until the butter melts, stirring constantly.

Pour into 9x13 baking dish.

Cut the bread into 1 inch pieces, trimming the crust off.

Arrange bread pieces over the sugar mixture, covering the entire bottom of the dish.

Beat the eggs, half & half, vanilla, and salt in a bowl with a whisk.

Pour over bread.

Chill covered, overnight.

Uncover and bring to room temperature.

Bake at 350 on the middle oven rack for 40 minutes or
until puffed and golden.
