3c sifted cake flour
3t baking powder
½ t salt
1c butter
1c milk
2c sugar
1t vanilla
½ t almond extract
4 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla and almond extract. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour mixture alternately with milk; beat smooth after each addition. Pour into 3, 9" layer pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 350º for 25 - 30 minutes. Cook, fill and frost with about 2 ½c of your favorite butter cream frosting.
