1.5 lb Beef for stew
3 strips of Bacon (chunks)
3 potatoes (chunked)
2 carrots (chunked)
1/2 onion (chunked)
2 ribs of celery (chunked)
1 pkg of stew mix
1 pkg of Au jus mix
2 cans of Guinness
1 shot of whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Put in a Crockpot in this order:
Bacon first (cooks thoroughly).

Beef, Carrots, Onion, Celery.

Mix packets (both) with 1 can of beer and saturate the mixings.

Whiskey, Garlic, salt, and pepper, potatoes last (they stay firmer).

Let simmer on high for 1 hour.

Drink the 2nd Guinness, you deserve it.

Reduce to low for 4-5 hours. Ideally, serve in bread bowl.
