Ingredients:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of milk
3/4 cup uncooked rice (not minute rice)
1 can (4 oz) mushroom pieces (optional, I would use some fresh mushrooms)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 bone-in chicken breasts (4 halves) split
*see below for boneless chicken

Directions:
Directions:
heat oven 350 degrees Blend soup with milk and reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture.
Stir together remaining soup mixture, the rice, mushrooms (with liquid) and half the onion soup mix.

Pour into ungreased baking dish. Arrange chicken pieces on the rice mixture.
Pour reserved soup mixture over chicken and sprinkle with remaining onion soup mix.

Cover; bake 1 hour. Uncover bake 15 minutes longer. Boneless chicken can be used, just decrease cooking time to 45 minutes and increase oven to 375º
