2 sticks butter (softened)
1 C vegetable oil
1 C sugar,
1 C 4x sugar
2 eggs
1-2 tsp vanilla
4 C flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, oil, and 1 C sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended.

Sift together flour, salt, cram of tarter, soda and add to creamed mixture and blend well.

Roll into balls and dip in sugar place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten with a glass dipped in the sugar.

Bake at 350º for 12-15 min. Cookies should not get very brown.
