3/4 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nutmeats (walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients, blend egg with the milk. Add to dry ingredients. Mix until well blended, add vanilla. Stir in nutmeats. Pour into greased pans. Let rise 1/2 hour. Bake in moderate oven at 350 º about 45 minutes. (I doubled this and bake in three pans)
