Potato slices to fill your baking dish.
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 c. milk
Cubed or Grated American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice potatoes. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 5 minutes and drain.
Layer the potatoes with the sauce and American cheese, alternately.

To make the sauce: Combine milk and flour in shaker bottle. Warm in a kettle until it thickens. Add butter, salt and pepper.

Bake 350 for 45 minutes.
