Directions:Plug in Instant Pot; insert steam basket
Place potatoes, corn and sausage in basket; add enough water to cover items in basket Remove the basket and add shrimp shells and the Louisiana Shrimp and Crab Boil seasoning; stir the contents in the water and then replace the basket that is filled with the potatoes, corn and sausage. Set the IP on high for 4 minutes; make sure the pressure valve is closed
While the above is cooking place the butter and garlic in a sauce pan on the stove to melt the butter and saute the garlic.
Once the butter is melted and the flavor of the garlic is infused into the butter add the remaining sauce ingredients; mix well. Leave the sauce on stove; turn the temp down to just keep it warm
Once the IP is finished cooking perform a quick release; open the lid after the steam has stopped spewing out. Turn the warm button on to keep water hot. Remove the basket of food and let it drain in a large glass bowl. Cover this with a tea towel while cooking the shrimp. Please the raw shrimp in the water and cook until pink; this only takes about a minute. Be careful to not over cook the shrimp. Once the shrimp is cooked add it to the basket of items draining. Be careful to not get shells in with the removal of the shrimp.
Drain the water that has drained from the basket out of the bowl; add the butter sauce and stir the food to ensure that everything is covered with the sauce.
Serve immediately.
