Apple or peach cobbler

Peel and slice fruit, place in 9x13x2 inch greased cake pan at least 1/2 full. Sprinkle with sugar to sweeten, add cinnamon or other spices, and slice butter pieces evenly over fruit. My mom, Ione, always used this recipe to cover a 9 x 13 inch pan of peeled, sliced fruit to make a quick and easy cobbler. I especially remember peach or apple cobblers, served warm with vanilla ice cream! This recipe is good for reunions!
