1/2 lb ground pork
1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
2 medium onions, chopped
1 cup cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon dry mustard
8 hamburger buns, toasted
dill pickles
1 onion, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the meats, chopped onions and cracker crumbs.
Place the butter in a skillet; heat over medium-high heat.
Add the meat mixture and cook until the meat is browned, stirring frequently. Transfer the meat mixture to the top of a double boiler; cook over simmering water 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
In a small bowl, mix the Worcestershire sauce, salt, hot pepper sauce, garlic and mustard until combined then add this on Top of the burgers. Cover and continue to cook over simmering water for 45 minutes.
Serve on hamburger buns. Top with sliced dill pickles and sliced onions.
