6-8 Eggs
Saltine Crackers
Canned Asparagus
Paprika
Butter

White Sauce:
1 stick butter
2 T. flour
1 c. asparagus juice
Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Boil 6-8 eggs. Cool and slice. Crush saltine crackers. Drain asparagus and save juice. Layer asparagus spears, sliced eggs and cracker crumbs. Make a white sauce – 1 stick of butter( not margarine), 2 T flour then stir together and add 1 cup of asparagus juice. Add milk to this stirring until the consistency of gravy. Pour over casserole and cover top with cracker crumbs. Dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake until bubbly.
