1 gallon of whole milk
8 Eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a gallon double boiler, pour 1 gallon of whole milk. Scald milk. In blender put 8 eggs, 1 ½ C sugar and blend till thoroughly mixed. When milk is hot, add a cup of it, gradually to blender (running) to keep eggs from cooking. Pour egg mixture into the milk, stirring constantly. Let this cook while stirring until it coats the spoon.

Pour into gallon jar or pitchers and cool. Add vanilla after it is cool.

Top with fresh whipped cream to serve.
