Salad:

1 head of red leaf lettuce
1 can mandarin oranges
Almond slices sautéed with 1 Tbsp. butter in frying pan

Salad Dressing:

1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
2 cloves of garlic (or more depending on your taste)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut the red leaf lettuce up into bite size pieces. Wash and drain the lettuce in a lettuce spinner. Place lettuce in salad bowl.

2. Drain can of mandarin oranges and place on top of lettuce in salad bowl.

3. In a frying pan, melt 1 Tbsp. butter and sauté the almond slices until brown. Place on plate lined with paper towels to absorb any left over butter. Add the sautéed almonds on top of salad.

4. Combine salad dressing ingredients and allow to set together in dressing container in fridge for awhile.

5. Place salad into individual salad bowls and top with desired amount of salad dressing.
