1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts without skin, boneless
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons shortening
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup onion
1/4 cup dried parsley
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 ounces tomato sauce
16 ounces diced tomato
1/2 cup olives, chopped
4 ounces mushroom, sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
16 ounces pasta

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut chicken in bite size pieces.
2. Melt shortening in large pot on stove.
3. Combine flour, salt & pepper in a bag. Shake chicken pieces in flour.
4. Lightly moisten chicken in oil and arrange in one layer.
5. Brown chicken in pot.
6. Chop onion and garlic. Saute in oil in a medium sauce pan.
7. Add parsley, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms & seasonings.
8. Pour over chicken.
9. Simmer for30 minutes or until chicken is done.
10. Cook a bag of bowtie pasta and drain.
11. When chicken is done, remove chicken from pan and toss pasta with sauce.
