Apple-Feta Tossed Salad
2 T. butter
1 c. walnut halves
1 T. sugar
5 c. torn romaine
5 c. torn red leaf lettuce
1 med. red apple, chopped
1 med. green apple, chopped
¾ c. crumbled feta cheese

Dressing:
6 T. olive oil
2 T. white wine vinegar
2 T. finely chopped onion
1 ½ t. Dijon mustard
½ t. sugar
¼ t. dried oregano
1/8 t. dried parsley
1/8 t. pepper



Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over medium heat. Add the walnuts; sprinkle with sugar. Stir until coated. Spread onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes.

Combine romaine, red lettuce, apples & feta.

Dressing: combine the dressing ingredients. Whisk thoroughly. Drizzle over salad. Sprinkle with sugared walnuts.
