olive oil cooking spray
1 tsp olive oil
1 clove garlic minced
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp granulated sugar
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
6 Tbsp unseasoned panko or breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a baking sheet with olive oil cooking spray. In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium-low heat until just warm, about 1 minute. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, salt, sugar, and red pepper flakes. Still well. When sauce begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes then remove from heat. While sauce is cooking, combine panko, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper on a medium sized plate. Place flour on a second plate. Put egg whites in a shallow dish. Dip each stick in flour to coat. Shake off excess. Dip in egg then panko mixture. Place sticks on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Spray tops with olive oil cooking spray. Put baking sheet in freezer for 1 hour. Fifteen to twenty minutes before serving, preheat oven to 400 degrees. When ready move baking sheet from freezer to oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes until sticks are just heated through not not melted. Heat sauce in microwave oven for 1-2 minutes until warmed through.
