1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 tbs. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. nuts
crushed corn flakes
mars. cherries
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk. Add flour, baking powder, soda, salt, dates, and nuts. Shape into balls, roll in crushed corn flakes. Top with 1/2 mars. cherry. Bake 15 min at 350
