2 (8 each) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 sticks butter, melted
1 ½ c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (12 oz.) can 7-up (or Sprite, Mt. Dew)
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Wash, peel, and cut apples into 8 equal slices. Unwrap crescent rolls and separate the triangles. Place a piece of apple on each triangle of dough (on wider side), and roll it. Butter 13x9 in. baking dish and add rolled apples.

In a separate bowl, combine butter, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until there are no lumps and pour over the rolls. Pour soda between rolls, not over them, and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve immediately with ice cream.
